What is Social Science ?

Social science is a field of study that explores various aspects of


human society and social relationships. It encompasses disciplines like
sociology, psychology, anthropology, economics, political science, and
more,

Its aiming to understand human behavior, interactions, societal


structures, and the mechanisms that shape our communities and cultures.
Different branches of social science

 01.Sociology: The study of society, social interactions, and institutions,


aiming to understand social behaviors, structures, and cultures.
 02.Psychology: The scientific study of the human mind and behavior,
exploring cognitive processes, emotions, personality, and mental health.
 03.Anthropology: Investigates human societies, cultures, and their
development, studying cultural diversity, origins, social norms, and
traditions.
 04.Economics: Examines production, distribution, and consumption of
goods and services, as well as the behavior of individuals, firms, and
governments in economic systems. Political Science: Focuses on the theory
and practice of politics, analyzing governmental systems, political
behavior, power relations, and public policies.
