HISTORY
Tata motors commercial sales in the market grew by 16% in the financial year of 2018-19. This
is a fine example of the aggressive growth pattern in the industry . The company managed to sell
more than 670000 units this year which was more as compared to the 580000 units in the
previous financial year. Although the sales dropped by a minor 1% due to consumer sentiments
being hurt . The company sales from the export of CV AND PV was more than 5900 units, lower
by 11% of the last year due to new regulation and political regulations in sri lanka and the middle
east countries.

Tata harrier is a 5 seater SUV set to rival Hyundai creta and the jeep compass, it is derived from
the H5X concept at the 2018 AUTO EXPO. The vehicle is now available for purchase at all the
authorized dealers and showrooms.
- TATA NANO
Tata nano was launched in 2009 as a city car in order to cater the economical section of the
Indian population. It was introduced as an affordable alternative , the vehicle attracted a lot of
attention as it was priced at a very low rate. Though it was cheap but it had its own disadvantages
like its body metal was not strong and the vehicle was not spacious .
