Dear Parents,

As discussed during our orientation on Project-Based Learning (PBL), we are providing

you with detailed instructions on how the project should be written. Additionally, we
have attached two samples, one for the first page and another for the second page.
Starting from the third page, students should focus on presenting their research work,
while the last two pages should contain the conclusion and references.

Please take note of the following guidelines:

1. The project should begin with the format provided by the school for the first page.
2. The next page should feature a handmade table of contents.
3. The research project must be handwritten.
4. Students of Grade 4 to 9 are required to use a black pen exclusively for writing the
project (Students of Grade 1 to 3 are required to use pencil for writing the project)
However all the students may utilize color pens and pencils for diagrams and charts.
5. Printouts may be used sparingly for specific diagrams or details only.
6. Students are encouraged to express and explain their research work in their own
unique way. Diagrams, T-charts, mind maps, flowcharts, and pictures are all permitted.
7. The use of both primary and/or secondary data is allowed.
8. Project papers must be used for writing the project.
9. The maximum word count for each grade level has been previously discussed and
shared within the group.

Please be reminded that the final day for finalizing the Research Question will be on
November 11, 2023.
