Dear Parent or Guardian:

Seven of the Fifteen days of the BHMS Summer Skills Academy (SSA) have passed. A heart felt thanks to
the students, parents, and teaching staff for all your efforts and achieving such a smooth start to the summer
program.

Remember there is no school tomorrow July 3
rd
. SSA will resume on July 7
th
with the final eight days being
July 7-10 and July 14-17
h
. Please contact me if your child is or will be absent from school.

To provide an idea of material the students are learning, a summary of the curriculum presented in each
subject area during the first half of the session is at the back of this letter. Grading does not occur during
SSA. An evaluation for each student will be mailed home after the completion of the session. There is no
academic mid-term evaluation for each student as there hasnt been enough time to accurately assess.

On behalf of the SSA teachers, thank you for allowing us to work with your child in preparation for the
coming school year. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the program.

Sincerely,
