such as brown/black outs then water
production would also be stopped.
However, providing generators would
not be budget friendly to others and
it would constantly need gasoline.
Thus availability and eco-friendly
water production is lacking in our
society.

For agricultural workers especially
in rural areas:
(Farmers, ranchers, livestock
producers)
For residence that has water
scarcity
This product’s design is directly
inspired by the human need for
water, and makes it easier to
access for general use in everyday
life. The water produced through
the filters of the bamboo tube is
clean and can be used to drink or
water your plants. This product can
affect everybody.
-Shortage of water supply.
-The cleanliness of the majority of
the water in the particular
environment, which originates from a
river or spring, is unknown.
Bamboo posts that have a water
filter made out of coconut husks
and loofah plants, and have lights
powered by a turbine.
The Philippines has faced
significant problems for many
years, including water and energy
access. Rapid urbanization is
taking place throughout the
nation, and expanding
communities struggle to meet the
needs of people, most rural areas
don't even have access to clean
water and energy. The bamboo
post will have a direct impact on
social and economic development.
Communities and individuals will
have access to clean water and
energy through a bamboo post.

SOCIAL CHALLENGES
For the benefactors of this product, it
is clearly seen that they are living in
rural and often isolated areas within
mountainous regions or obscure rural
locations, which causes them to
struggle in terms of obtaining clean
water or in some cases have difficulty
in having electricity for day to day
activities and tasks.

Moreover, it has been known that

these are necessities that are sought
after by the residents as these help
with their livelihood in terms of
farming acres of crops.
