ENGLISH III
ESSAY
TOPIC:
THE RACISM
NAME:
SÁNCHEZ ASENCIO ANALIZ TAMARA
People who practice racism and discrimination demonstrate scenarios of racial harm
through a lack of personal education. Racism classifies people into groups between
those above and those below, that is, social class.
Racism and discrimination show more than how we are as a society, in addition to
showing a phenomenon of denial towards certain social groups. Racism is a
manifestation of discriminatory practices and attitudes that are expressed through
prejudices, linguistic or symbolic expressions towards certain people.
Racism is a complex way of relating to peoples or people who have not yet changed
their principles of multiethnic coexistence. It is also based on the phenomenon of
race belief of the ideological aspects and harms that cause racial inequality among
human beings. People who are discriminated against by racism have no other option
but to assume strategies of denial and assimilation, without taking into account that
they only seek to be treated regardless of their race, religion, culture, etc.
As we know, race has become one of the main concerns of people who are
discriminated against due to their race, color, national origin and also ethnic origin.
Racism is only against people of color, but racism also exists in other areas such as
social classes, economic situation, ethnicities or cultures, this negatively apart from
society because there are currently many problems such as bullying.
Race does not exist, but it does matter, this is because education
professionals have the belief that the issue of race exists, the need to highlight
the differences between students from various ethnic groups and, above all,
minimize the similarities.
For example, if a black person goes to a store and asks for a job and they say
no, but over time they find out that they have hired a white girl. Here you can
analyze and understand that society is carried away by offensive and negative
ideologies.
As we have throughout this essay, racism has existed since ancient times and
we come to the conclusion that we must teach children and adolescents that
all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights since that is the
promise formulated by the Universal Declaration of Rights.
Finally, Fighting racism must be a joint effort with the entire society. So that
society can form a new generation that is not accustomed to discrimination.
