Symptom
During the transfer from CATS into the target applications PS/PM/CS, the system may generate error
message LR121 "Cancellation: no confirmation segment for CATS document & (see long text)".

Reason and Prerequisites

The error occurs because the error pool has not been reduced yet.

Solution
For this error message, you must reduce the generated error pool via Transaction IW46 (for PM/CS) or
Transaction CN30 (for PS).

Procedure:
After you have executed the transaction, double-click on the displayed error line.

In the displayed table control, you must proceed as follows for Release 3.1X:

l Overwrite a number in any field with the same value.

l Press Enter --> the causing error is displayed in the message line.

l Remove the error by correcting the corresponding data on the table control. If the data is not
visible on the table control, you have to branch to the detail screen.

l Press Enter --> The line can display another error which you must correct as described above or
a green tick is displayed. If the system displays the green tick, the record does not contain an
error and it is updated correctly when you save.

l When you choose Save, all records with a green tick are updated.

Proceed as follows in Releases as of Release 4.0:

l Select the line and press the 'Errors' icon. The system displays the causing error in the
message line. You should also choose the 'Check confirmations' icon for the check. Possible
errors are also displayed here.

l Remove the error by correcting the corresponding data on the table control. If the data is not
visible on the table control, you must branch to the detail screen.

l Press Enter --> the selected line can display another error which you must correct as described
above or a green tick is displayed. If the system displays the green tick, the record does not
contain an error and is updated correctly when you save.

l When you choose Save, all records with a green tick are updated.

If all errors are corrected via Transactions IW46/CN30, the system should no longer display error
LR121 during the transfer from CATS into the target application.

IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!
You should check Transactions IW46/CN30 regularly and correct the entries correspondingly.
After the entries were corrected, delete the empty BAPI/error record from Transaction IW46/CN30.

If the error message occurs during the transfer in spite of processing the error pool, you should
run correction report ZCATSPM2/ZCATSPS2. This report is stored in Note 96505.
This refers only to the correction report and not to the correction instruction contained in Note
96505!!
