Rice Wihout Rice


Cooker for
Beginners
Ingredients
 White rice
 Canola Oil
 Salt
 Caldero or metal fryer pot
 Metal spoon
 Water
 Measuring Cups
 Bowl

PREPRATION
1. First, you are going to want to measure out how many cups of rice you want to cook.
2. Once rice has been measured, pour into a bowl, and wash the rice with water.
3. Wash rice more than once until the water looks clear.
4. While cleaning the rice take the cadero and put water to boil.
5. Boil water on high heat
6. Example: 1 cup of rice = 1 cup of water
7. Add salt and canola oil to water when boiling.\
 NOTE: When measuring water for boiling, the measurement of water should always add
up to the amount of rice you are cooking.
 Example: 1 cup of rice = 1 cup of water
COOKING
1. Once the water has come to a complete boil add the clean rice to the water and
turn down the heat to medium.
2. Stir the rice for about 10 minutes or until it has sucked up most of the water in the
pot.
3. The rice should have a mushy consistency and look like rice pudding.
4. Once the rice has sucked up the water, put foil on the inside of the lid and cover
the rice.
5. Turn down the heat to Low heat and let the rice cook for about 35-40 minutes.
6. Once the rice is fully cooked, put about a spoonful of Canola oil in the rice and
stir It all around, to break up the rice.
7. Put rice into a separate container and scrape the hard remains into a small bowl.
