Grievance is respect of application Dated 16.07.2023 in respect of New Electric Connection for my
residential premises 1 room, kitchen and servant quarter located at 69 Atmajyoti Nagar Society, Ellora
Park Vadodara.

The Applicant most respectfully submit that:

1. The applicant is residing at the address shown.

2. The applicant was carrying out business at the shops no 2 & 3 located at 69 Atmajyoti Nagar
Society, Ellora Park Vadodara and room, kitchen and servant quarter was being used for
residential purpose behind the shop due to some dispute with Mr. Sureshbhai Raojibhai Patel,
then owner of premises. The shop and residential property were closed. Therefore, commercial
power was disconnected permanently sometime during October 1996. The connection was in
name of late father Bavalal Goberbhai Patel. Connection number is 15413018592. Father of
applicant Expired on 24.12.1998. His death certificate is enclosed.
3. The Civil Suit preferred by my late Father and I was also party to that after my father expired my
name has come. Said Civil Suit it Special Civil Suit No 285 of 1996. Same was filed by us against
the owner Mr. Suresh Raojibhai Patel. Said Suit is decided Vide order date 05.06.2020.
 4. It is held that dispossession done by owner was illegal, we are put in possession of the Suit
Property which included Shop No 2 & 3 at 69 Atmajyoti Nagar Society, Ellora Park Vadodara and
one room, kitchen and servant quarter behind the shop which is residential.
5. First, I applied for the commercial connection for our shops which was approved, and connection
was granted after the order of CGRF, we are very thankful for that.
6. After that on 16.07.2023 I applied for the residential connection for one room, kitchen and
servant quarter which has separate VMC Tax receipt.
7. I Therefore request MGVCL to grant permission for the residential connection as we have made
online application and we have already paid Re.118 towards Reg Charges for New Connection,
Re. 23.6 towards Test report Charges, Re. 12000 towards 96 Fixed Charges, Re. 6049 towards 96
Security Deposit Residential, Total Re. 18190.60 payment were made online.
8. On further probing online, we understand that our application is put Under Query for Proof of
ownership and Authorization Document.
9. I have already uploaded Special Civil Suit Judgement, VMC Tax receipt, CGRF judgement of
Commercial connection for reference and other required documents.
10. Being aggrieved by said application status, I prefer to meet Mr. K G Prajapati Gotri Sub Division,
but after not getting proper response I prefer this application for Redressal of my grievance on
following grounds.
a. Commercial connection was already approved by CGRF and Legal department of MGVCL
at same suit commercial property.
b. Competent court has held that the possession be restored.
c. Therefore, the applicant has regained the possession.
d. Therefore, the applicant is entitled to get residential electricity connection.
e. When Hon Court has restored the possession, the ownership documents or consent are
not required.
f. Therefore, on grounds of non-ownership is unjust, unfair, improper and illegal.
g. Applicant understands that commercial connection for shop can’t be used on residential
premises therefore applied for the new connection.
11. No other appeal, application is preferred by me for the purpose of this application.
12. I Therefore most respectfully pray that.
a. Your honor my order MGVCL, Gotri Sub Division to grant residential Electricity supply
connection at 69 Atmajyoti Nagar Society, Ellora Park Vadodara or allow us in written to
use commercial connection in residential premises.
b. Your Honor may be pleased to pass any other and further order as may be found
necessary, just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and oblige.
