What is Prayer?
Prayer is
communicating
with God.
Praying
together makes
the members of
the family
united.
Praying keeps
the family in the
loving presence
of God.
Prayer is
accompanied
by loving
actions.
Prayer
develops a
conscious
awareness of
our relationship
with God.

Garden”

how Jesus
communicates with
God in prayer.

We worship and adore God
alone for He is our Creator and
Father.
Contrition
It is a prayer that asks God for
forgiveness, saying sorry for
having done something that
offended others, ourselves, and
God.
Thanksgiving
We thank God for all that He
has given us, especially the
incredible gift of His Self-giving
love.
Supplication
We present our needs to God,
asking for His help.
Offering
We put all our thoughts, words
and deeds, our whole lives
before God.

God’s Will in His
Words, reading the
bible always help
us like what is says
in Colossians 3:16
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,
as in all wisdom you teach and admonish
one another, singing psalms, hymns, and
spiritual songs with gratitude in your
hearts to God”.
What is
Rosary?
Rosary is an
important and
traditional prayer
recited by Catholic, it
is a combining prayer
and meditation.
Rosary means
“garland of rose with
love”.
Do you know that…
Our patron St. Dominic de
Guzman started praying the
Rosary after the Blessed
Virgin Mary appeared to
him. Mother Mary asked St.
Dominic to teach people to
pray the rosary.
Mysteries of the
Rosary reminds us
of the mysteries of
Christ’s life, death,
and resurrection.

Praying the rosary is “getting
to know” Christ, and who could
truly teach us about Jesus than
Mary, because no one can
introduce us to a profound
knowledge and understanding
of Christ’s mystery than his
Mother.
Praying the Rosary makes us
become conformed to Christ,
under his mother’s guidance
and care.
We invoke the Blessed Mother
as we pray the Hail Mary, and
we must remember that in this
prayer, the ultimate subject is
her son Jesus Christ
Remember!
Praying together keeps the
family together in love. It also
keeps them in the loving
presence of God who cares
for, guides, and protects them.
