Mistvale

Primary Export: Wood, Enchanted Items, Books, Crops

Primary Import: Food, Leather, Seeds, Stone

Wealth: High

A strange city, near permanently shrouded in mists, if you're looking for magic, Mistvale is the place to
visit in Teloch. A strong suporter of the throne, Mistvale believes that a slow and steady encroachment is
the best way for dealing with Sassarik. They are Telochian to the core, but cautious. Despite this, this
is a strange air in Mistvale, there are no homeless amongst its streets, nor stray animals. The locals see
nothing odd about this and are confused that such a thing is common in other cities. The architecture is
Telochian with wood and stone serving as their common building material, exteriors are characterized by
strong walls and decorated roofing. Interiors are utility focused, small and built with purpose. The people
of Mistvale are generally tieflings, elves, gnomes and humans.

A Silver Moon and A Burning Star Are His Eyes

A being of knowledge, used to be a commonly associated with being in Mistvale, the Cult of the Silver
Moon would trade knowledge with it, eventually it was realized that the more intense the knowledge
traded, the better the return. This turned the Cult hedonistic as they sought out ever greater experiences
to trade. Laws were changed to consider the Being itself a dangerous influence on mortal affairs, the
Duke began to destroy rituals and spells used to contact the Silver Moon, though some still persist in
Mistvale to this day and are used fairly commonly amongst mages. A weather ritual is used by the
fishermen still.

The Silver Moon's true objective is to spread agents of his own far and wide and eventually gain enough
power to claim godhood. Assisting it in a permanent fashion (becoming one of its agents) begets one
connections and a useful power. If it's machinations are achieved and it becomes a god someday, its
helpers will inevitably begin to rise.

Magic Universities

Jorshun - Weather, Other Worlds, Spiritual Matters

Yndel - Nature, Time, Summoning

Azreekun - Unknown (Talking to Mors at Yndel reveals these details)

Azreekun studies magic itself, they are purists and achieving study there is considered nigh impossible.
Their admittance each year hovers around ten, and rarely goes above it. Students however rarely leave,
since Azreekun is an institute that appeals to a certain type. Those who want to delve deep into research
and theories in a journey to understanding. A journey that may be for nothing.

Objectively Jorshun is the best academy in students, faculty and numbers. They are wealthy and possess
a great many artefacts and tomes of lore. Unfortunately the suffer from a superiority - inferiority
complex towards Azreekun, due to its secretive nature and exclusivity.
