The roles and descriptions that are available are below please tick which you are interested
in. We do have a waiting list for certain roles.
Dog Walker: To assist the centre with dog walking, working with other volunteers and staff
to ensure that the dogs receive the appropriate exercise and care.
Cat Cuddler: To spend time with the cats and kittens to encourage more human interaction
therefore making them more re-home able.
Reception Support: To support the Reception & Information Coordinator on reception with
answering queries over telephone and email and completing administrative tasks. We have
Wednesday 1pm till 4pm and Saturdays 10am till 4pm can be split over 2 roles.
Cattery Support: To support the Animal Care Assistants’, provide and maintain the highest
standard of animal welfare to all animals at the centre. This role starts at 8am each day of
the week. We have Mondays Tuesday, Wednesday Fridays, and Saturdays, Available
Kennel Support: To support the Animal Care Assistants’, provide and maintain the highest
standard of animal welfare to all animals at the centre. From 8am
Fundraising: To increase income for the branch by helping to organise our local fundraising
events.
Charity Retail: To work alongside the shop staff within our charity shops to assist in the
general day to day sales and operations, gaining valuable experience within the retail and
customer service sector.

Van Driver (Wednesdays Only): To distribute donated goods from the centre to our charity
shops to keep them well stocked, regulating the flow of cash donations that feed straight
back into the centre for the care of the cats and dogs.
Grounds Maintenance: To assist with general centre ground works, working with other
volunteers and staff under the direction of the maintenance staff.
