Assessor’s Package
The assessment covers the following units of competence:
POST ASSESSMENT
1. Provide feedback on the outcome of the assessment process. This includes providing
the candidate with:
clear and constructive feedback on the assessment decision
Give the candidates your feedback on the assessment result.
Feedback should indicate whether the candidate is:

On each of the competencies assessed
information on ways of overcoming any identified gaps in competency revealed by
the assessment

2. Prepare the necessary assessment reports
Record the assessment outcome using the prescribed Observation Checklist
Make sure the report or rating sheets are properly signed by you and the candidate
Maintain records of the assessment procedures, evidence collected and
assessment outcome
Endorse assessment results/outcomes to assessment centre manager
Prepare recommendations for the issuance of national certificate/ certificate of
competence
NOTE: The OS must be the guide in preparing the plan, considering the various elements of the unit of competence and performance
Criteria indicated. Underpinning skills must also be considered

Project Information
Given the necessary tools, equipment and information, the candidate is expected to
Perform the following three projects.
The assessor should ask oral questions on which s/he is not satisfied by the candidate’s
Performance.
This project involves the operation of a database using Microsoft Access Application
software and the candidate is expected to prepare related tables, filter data based on
criteria, Validate data, and prepare form and reports. Assuming a doctor visits/rounds more
than one patient. The database contains two tables by the name “Doctor” and “Patient”
Competencies covered:
1. ICT ITS2 01 0811 Operate Database Application
Instruction: Under this project the candidate is expected to perform the following two
tasks based on the information provided:-

Create a database called Doctor_Patient
Assign the appropriate design view field-Name and data type
Create the tables below
Set a primary key for each table
Create Relationship among the tables
Fill the tables with the following data

Filter those Doctors their Specialty is on Heart and their address is at Ayder

Filter the address of the patients which begins with “A”
Count the Female Doctors
Prepare a form that contains information from both tables
This project involves the obtaining and fixing network hardware and solves network
problems; the candidate is expected to obtain network hardware, Prepare Cross-Over cable,
Connect two computers, assign IP Address and connect a printer to one of the computers.

2. ICT ITS2 04 0811 Care for Network and Computer Hardware/
Instruction: Under this project the candidate is expected to perform the following
activities based on the information provided:-
This project involves the, the candidate is expected to install LAN driver, Ping from each
Of the computers, Share and access a printer remotely and print sample page, apply
problem solving methods and perform documentation based on the table given below.

resources based on the information provided by performing the following activities:-
This project involves the usage of internet, the candidate is expected to download and install
a software, make a home page, create e-mail account, search information, send and attach
a file.
