Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh Castle is an ancient fortress erected on a rock of volcanic
origin located in the center of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland,The
fortress was one of the most important in the Kingdom of Scotland, so it
actively participated in multiple historical conflicts from the Scottish
Wars of Independence in the 14th century to the Jacobite rebellion of
1745 and It is on this Castle where the Military Tattoo is held annually,
and it is here that parades and various types of training for the castle's
military garrison were once organized.
Palace of Holy Rood
The Holyrood Palace has served as the main residence of the monarchs of
Scotland since the 16th century,Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom
usually spent a week every year at the beginning of summer in Holyrood.
The Queen's Gallery was built at the western entrance of the palace and was
inaugurated in 2002 exhibiting works from the Royal Collection.
National museum of Scotland

The National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, Scotland was created in


2006 with the merger of the new Museum of Scotland, with collections of
Scottish antiquities, culture and history, and the adjacent Royal Museum of
Scotland, with collections of science and technology, natural history and
world cultures.
Christmas Market

The Scottish market on West George St is a winter


showcase of some of the best handicrafts, food and drinks
that Scotland has to offer. The available sweets will be
locally produced products and artisanal delicacies.
Cathedral of St Giles
The cathedral of Saint Giles Is a historic religious building, built from the
twelfth century, emblematic of the city of Edinburgh,Its most characteristic
element is its dome in the shape of a royal crown. It is one of the two
parishes of the Old City of Edinburgh and is considered the mother church
of Presbyterianism and the Church of Scotland.
Edinburgh Fringe Festival
The Fringe is an alternative performing arts festival that is held in parallel to
the Edinburgh Festival,1 within the set of cultural competitions that take
place in summer in the capital of Scotland,the Fringe includes all the forms
of the show and the total sum of theater genres from the classics of ancient
Greece or Shakespeare to street theater.
