End Term Examination

Make sure that:

• You have an active user account at https://lms.iimk.ac.in . Log on to https://lms.iimk.ac.in
see if your account is active.

• If you have forgotten your password, you can change it at https://lms.iimk.ac.in or contact
your course coordinator.

• A detailed examination procedure and steps are provided in the below link with the
reference screenshot.

Detail Instruction Guide: Proctoring Examination

Pre-Request Information:

• Please make sure you have reached the examination centre before 30 minutes to the
examination time.
• Once you enter to the examination centre, please present Student ID card and get in
touch with centre Invigilator to collect the examination key.
• Post to the collection of the key, you may take the allocated seat for the examination.

Examination Procedure
1. All the exam links are made available under the IIMK VC Moodle, under the new title
called “End Term Examination” with respective course module.

2. Subsequently, the learner can proceed to use a computer system for the examination.
3. Upon successfully clicking the examination link from the Learning Management System,
the learner will be directed to the "Exam Start Page" which will display:
a. Examination Name
b. Total Questions
c. Total Sections
d. Test Duration
4. After clicking "Proceed", the learner will be taken to the Mettl compatibility check page,
which verifies:
a. System Compatibility
b. Webcam and Microphone Availability
c. Screenshare Enabling
5. Progressing further, learners will then be directed to the "Examination Instructions"
page.
6. Continuing, learners will arrive at the "Registration Page", where the learner must
provide their details along with the "Examination Key" provided by the invigilator.
a. Email ID
b. First Name
c. Last Name.
d. Examination Key - To be provided by invigilator to candidate after filling attendance
sheet.
7. Upon successfully entering the details, learners will move to the authorization section,
where their face and ID card will be captured.

 End Term Examination

8. After successful authorization, learners will be directed to the Section page. If learners
have the option to select a section, they can choose any section to continue the
examination. Alternatively, learners might be directed to a pre-defined section based on
the exam rules.
