Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2,
including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university.

• Candidates appearing for the final year (4th Year) examination of Bachelor of
Pharmacy (B. Pharm) whose result will be declared before commencement of
admission to M. Pharm course for the academic year 2024-25 are eligible to
appear in GPAT 2024. Candidates appearing for the Prefinal year (3rd Year)
examination of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) whose results for Final Year
(4th Year) will be declared before commencement of admission to M. Pharm
course for the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to appear in GPAT 2024.

•The prescribed exam fee should be remitted through payment gateway provided

•Fee can not be deposited through any mode other than the payment gateway
available while submitting online application form submission.

Submission of Application

• Application for GPAT 2024 can only be submitted online through NBEMS website https://
natboard.edu.in

• There is no other methodology for application submission.

• Application submitted through any other mode shall be summarily rejected.

• Candidates who fail to submit duly completed applications with requisite documents and/or fail
to rectify the deficiencies in their applications by the last date prescribed for rectification shall be
declared ineligible. Admit Card shall not be issued to candidates who are declared ineligible
before conduct of examination.

• In such cases, the examination fee shall not be refunded.


The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using computers
network (CBT) as per scheme prescribed. An indicative Blueprint of the examination is
as under:

Marking Scheme: Allocation of marks for each MCQ shall be as follows:

•There shall be 25% negative marking for incorrect answers.

•No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.


Pattern

• The question paper for GAPT will be divided into multiple time bound sections. For example, if
there are 5-time bound sections* (Section A, B, C, D & E) in the question paper

• Each Section will have 25 questions and 36 minutes of time allotted for the section. Candidates
would be restricted to proceed to the next section only after completion of the allotted
time of the previous section and candidates would not be allowed to review the
questions/modify the responses of a section after the completion of the allotted time of
that section.

• Questions of the next section will start automatically after the completion of the allotted time of
the previous section.

(The actual number of such time-restricted sections may vary based on the total number of
questions in the question paper and operational feasibility in making such sections.)
Pattern

• Candidates are given an option to mark any question, whether attempted or not, for review
which means that candidate has been given an option to go through these questions in a
section again before the allotted time to a section ends.

• Candidates may note that such questions which are marked for review shall be evaluated as
per the marking scheme mentioned above.

Instructions to Fill Online GPAT 2024 Application
Form
• Fill the user registration form to generate User ID/Application ID and Password.

• User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email.

• Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, Scanned signature, Thumb
impression & Prescribed documents.

• Choose your Test City and pay Examination Fee

• Agree to the declaration and Submit Application

• Take a print out of the filled Application form with Transaction ID printed on it and payment
status mentioned as “S” (Successful) for records.
