REFLECTION

How valuable is this research, and why can it help us students?

Nutrition education gives knowledge about proper nutrition, how we choose what food
we should eat, how healthy is the food we eat, and how different types of food affect our
body. Likewise, a well-balanced nutrition and diet are crucial for students as they provide
the energy and nutrients needed for concentration, memory, and overall cognitive
function. Eating a variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and
proteins, can positively impact academic performance and overall health.

However, in this research it is well defined that nutrition education can have a significant
impact on various aspects of individuals' lives, including diet quality, sustainable
nutrition practices, and eating behavior. Based on the study, it is mentioned that only
47.5% of the individuals were educated in nutrition and dietetics programs and 52.5%
were in other programs. The majority are uneducated individuals. As a result of the study,
nutrition education has been found to be beneficial in promoting long-term and healthy
eating habits. Given the relevance of nutrition education to human health and
environmental sustainability, it is critical in terms of public health to raise societal
knowledge of this problem.
