SUBJECT : STUDENT OUTREACH PROGRAMME – SAFETY SKILLS ON ROAD

Respected Sir/Madam,

Central Academy for Police Training, Bhopal is a well-established and prestigious Institute of the
Government of India engaged in providing training to diverse professionals in different fields relating to police,
prosecution and prison officers. CAPT proudly boasts of having won the Union Home Minister’s Trophy for Best
Police Training Institute in India for the year 2019-20. Central Academy for Police Training (CAPT), Bhopal has
been accredited as an “UTKRISTH” Central Training Institute under the Capacity Building Commission’s
National Standards as assessed by National Accreditation Board of Education and Training (NABET).
2. CAPT, Bhopal organises the “Student Outreach Programme” for young students to develop a civic sense,
patriotism, good citizenship and awareness of natural disasters, traffic discipline, cyber crimes, drug abuse etc. In
this series, CAPT Bhopal offers an online Student Outreach programme on “Safety Skills on Road” for students
of Class VII to Class XII on 14th September 2023 at 1530 Hrs. It has been designed to inculcate road safety
issues and duties of good Samaritans among school children.
3. Mr Dheerendra Samineni, Road Safety Expert and Founder of Safe Drive India will be the guest speaker in the
programme. Mr. Dheerendra Samineni is having 30 years plus experience in Automobile sector including training
professional with 16 years of diverse experiences spanning more than 150 plus Corporations, Government Sector,
Industries, Factories, Schools & NGOs. His geographical experience covers India, UAE, Nepal, Sri Lanka,
Malaysia etc. as a result has strong appreciation for multi-cultural environments. For this Student Outreach
programme, an interactive and age-specific module has been prepared in consultation with Traffic Police,
educationists and experts. This programme aims to create an informed class of youth that will become an
ambassador to generate awareness around them by being an example and to build a culture of road safety from the
early years to the age of license.
4. The training delivery methodology has been formulated by educational experts and offers flexibility for the
students to attend the programme. The programme is open to access by all students of Class VIII to Class XII.
5. You are hereby requested to arrange the live streaming of the programme in the classrooms. Eligible
students as well as Teachers may be directed to enroll and join the programme directly through Cisco
Webex or YouTube Live.

6. The online platform for participation is Cisco Webex. The programme will also be telecasted live on YouTube.

7. A detail of the event being offered has been attached as Appendix “A”.
