1. Strengths
Jong Lang Lasalle Indonesia enjoys a strong standing and brand
acknowledgment as a prominent player with its being known to operates in 80
countries and has more than 200 corporate offices. This gives JLL Indonesia
the ability gain trust from its clients and provide top-notch services with
global standard. The firm’s involvement in various real estate sectors,
including commercial, residential, and industrial properties, enables effective
risk management and establishes consistent revenue streams through the
diversification of its portfolio. Moreover, JLL has made significant
investments in the development and training of its over 100 employees in
Indonesia, cultivating a skilled workforce across various domains, including
leasing, property management, investment advisory, and project management.
To stay competitive in the current period, JLL has created various digital
offerings like JLL Spark to foster innovation within the industry. All the
strengths mentioned above able create a strong financial position for the JLL
Indonesia reflected by current revenue of 16,8 million USD.
2. Weaknesses
Even though the company has a strong reputation, it competes in a very
competitive industry that can limit the company presence and JLL’s chance to
get new contracts and increase its revenue may got lowered. JLL also relies on
some key clients that have significant portions of the revenue. These clients
can become one of the vulnerable aspects of the company’s financial. JLL also
has some gaps in the product range that the company offers. This can give the
competitor a chance to penetrate the segment. Lastly, with its dependance on
skilled professionals to operate, a recruiting and retaining the talent can be
challenging task to do in Indonesia’s competitive job market.

3. Opportunities
Three clear purposes of JLL which are sustainability, corporate social
responsibility, and technology can work as the opportunity for the company.
Sustainability aspect can be achieved by capitalizing on evolving customer
behaviors and addressing contemporary concerns like global warming that
aligns with the possibility of offering new services to meet these evolving
market demands. For example, eco-friendly building and reducing carbon
emission on upcoming projects. Leveraging its substantial resources, JLL can
pursue strategic social responsibility that other than a way to give back to
community, is also a good PR strategy for the company. Lastly, applying more
advanced technology into JLL operations stands as a viable strategy to
enhance efficiency and service quality but also can be a solution to the
company’s dependence on skilled workers as automatization requires less
human intervention.
4. Threats
Like any similar firms in the industry, JLL is dependent on the economic
conditions as Indonesian property sector is predicted will grow slightly slower
on 2023 with ownership loans will grow by 7%. Moreover, 2023 global
economic recession will cause people to put off buying property (Sukaesih,
2022). Other than economic conditions, regulation and laws also play a big
role in the industry. Lastly, technological advancements not only provide the
company with new opportunities but can also act as a disruptive force. It is
imperative for the firm to remain adaptable to remain competitive and avoid
lagging behind its rivals.
