Intertek Business Assurance (“Intertek”), through its Business Units performs a variety of information, training,
and audit and certification services mainly in the Management Systems area. Consulting and certification
services are AT ALL TIMES separated in accordance with Accreditation Body and Intertek’s own requirements.
Intertek Business Assurance maintains certain internal controls and safeguards to preclude any conflict-of-
interest, actual or perceived.

This personal attestation is being made to guard against any possible conflict-of-interest.

I hereby certify that while I am an employee, permanent or contractual, of any Intertek Business Units, I will at
no time engage in any activity that might be perceived as a conflict-of-interest in fact or appearance. This shall
include statements or indications that the audit / certification would be simpler, easier or less expensive if other
noted services were also contracted in conjunction with the certification process; or that the use of both audit /
certification and preparation / consulting services would bring any business advantage to the client; thus
undermining the impartiality of the audit / certification process.

I will not begin an engagement, nor will I continue an engagement, upon discovery of any financial interest (debt,
equity, or ownership instrument) or employment of any immediate family member that I may have with any
client whom I am engaged to provide third party certification services of any kind. I will not begin any
audit/certification engagement for any client for whom I have performed preparation / internal audit / training
(private or tailored) / consulting services in the preceding two years.

If involved with product certification activities, I will declare any prior and/or present association on my own part,
or on the part of my employer, with:

1. a supplier or designer of products, or

2. a provider or developer of services, or
3. an operator or developer of processes
to the evaluation or certification of which I may be assigned

I further attest that I will not discuss any consulting/preparation services that I perform for a client with any
Intertek personnel who may subsequently be called upon to provide certification services to the same entity. I
will restrict my disclosures in such a way as to prevent any conflict-of-interest, actual or perceived.

I will maintain confidentiality and not use, or disclose to any third party, information obtained from the Client
and Intertek in connection with the services provided by Intertek. Such obligation shall continue in full force and
effect during the term of and after the termination of my employment or contractual relationship with Intertek
and may only be disclosed to a third party with written consent of the Client and/or Intertek as required. Any
information which lawfully becomes part of the public domain or which shall otherwise lawfully become available
to Intertek from a source independent of the Client shall not be subject to such restriction.

I will ensure that marketing material, including website, and/or presentation provided by myself or my
organization does not refer to “Intertek Business Assurance” without Intertek’s prior consent.

I understand that any violation of these principles will result in severe disciplinary action up to and including
summary dismissal.

I have read and understand the above, and I agree to comply with all of its provisions.
