The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Once upon a time, there lives a bell ringer at the Notre-Dame Cathedral named
Quasimodo. His interlocutor is Claude Frollo, whom he considers his guardian. Frollo often
scares Quasimodo that the outside world is cruel and reminds him of his physical defects.
Until one day, there was a festival held near the cathedral. Quasimodo sneaked out of the bell
room to the festival. He met a beautiful, Roman dancer girl named Esmeralda there. But
sadly, he was taunted and beaten up by the others because of his looks. Esmeralda, who is
concerned by his condition, helped him free from the rope that was tied to his body. Frollo
frowns as he saw that gypsy girl free Quasimodo. He quickly orders Captain Phoebus and the
other guards to arrest her.

All the guards starts to surround her. “There’s ten of you and one of me, what’s a poor
girl to do..” she said. Then, she pulled out a little cloth from her chest and BOOM!!! She
dissapeard. Witchcraft, that’s what they call it. Every guard ran after her. But she managed to
run from them. She put on a disguise and walk into the cathedral. She met Quasimodo in the
bell room and had a little talk with him, and that made Quasimodo realize that he had fell in
love with her. But little did he know, Phoebus also liked her. Quasimodo decided to help
Esmeralda to escape from Frollo since she helped him too. Frollo looked for her in every inch
of the city. He didn’t even hesitate to burn down it. Finally, after a long search, he managed
to find Esmeralda in the Court Of Miracles.

He tied her up on a wood and and burned it. Of course, Quasimodo can’t stand look at
his beloved be tortured. His anger made him stronger, strong enough to break the chains that
tied him up. He climbed up and release Esmeralda from the wood and climbed back up. But
Frollo is not giving up. He tried every ways to kill Quasimodo and Esmeralda, that led him to
his own death. He fell of the cathedral railings. Quasimodo almost fell down, but good thing
Phoebus catched him on time. Finally, Frollo’s gone and Quasimodo and Esmeralda are free.
No more hiding, no more escaping. And they lived happily ever after.
