Subject: Great White Attack Ethical Concerns

I write to you regarding your plan to launch Great White Attack coffee, even though your

lawyer has informed you that it has some negative health implications for some of your

consumers.

Firstly, there is a need for a detailed analysis about the product including looking at all

possible risks to human health. This can be achieved by looking at the type and amounts of

ingredients that make the coffee. This needs to be compared with recommended coffee intake for

healthy individuals. If excessive, you should take legal advice provided by your lawyer and label

the product so that a customer will be able to know if their ingredients are potentially harmful to

them. Labeling the product will also help gain public trust thus more customer loyalty.

Secondly, there are standards of ethics applied that affect your decision to sell the

product. Apart from the risk the product may pose to the users, you should also take into

consideration the risk that the product may cause to the environment. For example, deforestation

in Costa Rica may have occurred to accommodate the coffee plants (Raz, 2004). Thus, you

should be able to convince the user that the product is eco-friendly by doing due diligence in

Costa Rica.

In conclusion, I fully understand the product has become a favorite to close friends and

family who have tasted it. However, before launching the product, you need to consider

consumer health and the environment. If making the product meets these ethical standards, you

should proceed with the product launch.

Your sincerely
