The life of a corporate lawyer is much more beyond what is taught in the four walls of classroom.
Hence to bridge this gap The Corporate Law was established. The Faculty in Charge of the cell is Asst.
Prof. Rushil Chandra Sir who has been the guiding light for the formation and inauguration of the
cell. The cell was a visionary idea of 4 founding members namely- Najeeb Din being the student
Head and Anuskha Bhattacharjee, Dhruv Kalantri and Dev Ahuja being the Co- Heads of the cell. The
cell currently comprises of 19 members, who are working tirelessly for the cell.

In order to make the students aware and ready for working and interning in Corporate Law firms,
under the In -house Counsels and/or practise in the field of Corporate and Allied Laws the cell
intends to organise various activities , events and workshops.

The Cell is looking forward to organise Guest Lectures in the month of October. Further the cell is
planning to organise A National Conference on Corporate and Allied Laws in the month of January
2023 . The Cell in the upcoming months is also planning to organise Capsule Courses for interested
students. The cell is will also host Contract Drafting Competitions, Deal Negotiation Competition,
Quizzes on Corporate and Business Laws.

Publications are very essential for Law students and lawyers. Hence the Cell will on regular basis
invite research papers in the form of Call for Papers from the Academicians, Research Scholars,
Lawyers, Law Students.

After knowing as to why to join the Cell lets proceed as to how to apply for the member ship of the
Cell.

The cell requires hard working, punctual, diligent and active members and hence the Cell will soon
open for its membership. A Google form will be circulated inviting interested students to apply,
followed by an interview round for the shortlisted applicants.
