Care of Omnian Standards

Omnian set-up samples are comprised of delicate fused bead and pressed powder samples. They
should be stored dry, preferably vacuum packed or else in the metal case they came in or in a
desiccator. If stored in the case, the small bags of desiccant should be changed regularly.

Handling the samples should preferably be done using a pair of vacuum tweezers. The analysis
surface should never be touched!

Samples have been previously analysed for quality testing purposes and as such, may show some
discolouration.

This will not affect the results in any way.
