Subject: ALLOCATION OF160 MVA AUTO TRANSFORMER TO TSG

TRAINING CENTER TARBELA

1. Issue:

Allocation of 160MVA Transformer to the TSG Training Center Tarbela as per the
verbal instruction/direction of the worthy MD NTDC.

2. Background:

We are extremely grateful to the worthy MD NTDC, who prioritized the

strengthening and development of the NTDC Training Centers. In the visit of the
worthy MD NTDC on dated 23rdDecember 2022 to the TSG Training Center Tarbela
a meeting was held in the O/O of the undersigned in which it was desired by worthy
MD NTDC that a 160 MVA Transformer be provided hereso that the lab testing could
be aligned in all respect with the field requirements, and to prepared the professionals
in the finest way to face the field challenges competently.
In this regard different spare/dismantled Transformers of the Asset Management of
the Islamabad region were visited for selection.
The below mentioned Transformer which will get spare in near future can be
allocated to the TSG Training Center Tarbela.

3. Recommendation:

The General ManagerAsset Management (North) may kindly be approached

for allocation of the Transformer mentioned above.
It is further requested the process of installation and transportation may be
completed through the NTDC Project Delivery Department after completing all the
codal formalities.
