EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 6

“EXECUTIVE ORDER MANDATING NORAIDA G. MASLA PERFORMS AS VAWC

DESK OFFICER AND FURTHER IN ACT AND IN ALL VAWC CASES IN THIS
BARANGAY.”

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9208 declares that the state shall give highest priority
to the enactment of measures and development of programs that will promote
human dignity, protect the people from violence and explanation;

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9262 underscore and commitment of the state of
safeguarding the dignity of women and children while guaranteeing full respect of
their human rights and to protect them from violence and treats to their personal
safety and security;

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9710, Otherwise as the Magna Carta of Women, is a
comprehensive women’s human rights law that seek to eliminate discrimination
against women, by recognizing, protecting, fulfilling and promoting the rights of
Filipino Women Regulations Implementing the Magna Carta of Women provides
for the establishment of a VAWC Desk in every Barangay to ensure that violence
against women cases are addressed in a gender-responsive manner;
WHEREAS, This Executive order shall be published and took effect immediately on
the date.

NOW THEREFORE, I ABUSAMA M. MANAMBA, by virtue of the power vested in

me by law as officially elected Punong Barangay of Barangay Makat, Columbio,
Sultan Kudarat do hereby appoint NORAIDA G. MASLA as VAWC Desk Officer in
accordance with joint Memorandum Circular No. 2010-1 of DILG, -DSWD-DOH,
DEP_ED-PCW.

This Executive Order shall be final and executor upon publicly published on
November 23, 2023 at Barangay Makat, Columbio, Sultan Kudarat.
