Bachelor of Pharmacy is four years full-time Course offered by Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, New
Delhi, and Approved by PCI.

Admission Process

The merit list of candidates seeking admission. will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate of the three subjects (theory
and practical taken together) Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics. If the candidate has taken both mathematics and
biology, the best of two will be considered for third subject after Physics and Chemistry.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking admission to First Semester B. Pharm. must have passed:

Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12 year Course) or the
Indian School Examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology
(P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in
three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics) from Recognized Schools in the National Capital
Territory of Delhi.

OR

10+2 examination conducted by the respective state / central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2
examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55 % or above marks* in aggregate
n(theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects(Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics).

OR

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

OR

Intermediate examination in science from Indian Universities or with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55 % or above marks* in aggregate (theory
and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics). Candidates who
have been awarded grades in the examination which make them eligible for admission should also submit conversion
certificate of numerical marks from the concerned authority.
The candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination from st Open School are ELIGIBLE for admission to B. Pharm. 1
Semester.
Provided that a student should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17
years st on or before 31 December.
Lateral Entry- A candidate seeking admission to B. Pharm. Lateral Entry (to Second Year/Third semester) must have
passed D. Pharm. course as per PCI norms. 85% of seats will be reserved for those who have passed D.Pharm. from
DPSRU. 15% seats will be open to other institutes from Delhi or outside from an institution approved by the Pharmacy
Council of India.

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences And Research provides various facilities on campus. The DIPSAR spreads with the

Girls Hostel

The DIPSAR facilities include a separate girls' hostel with well-maintained facilities. The DIPSAR hostel facilities include a
hygiene mess, utility shops, ATM, a library, a common room, recreation blocks, a gym, sports, and many others. The DIPSAR
hostel facilities also include a trained security guard.

Medical/Hospital

The DIPSAR air-conditioned library is spread over an area of 4,400 sq. ft. The DIPSAR library has approximately 18000 books
and covers all branches of pharmaceutical sciences such as pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and
pharmacognosy, as well as having a good collection of books for allied sciences such as pathology, medicine, biochemistry,
management, microbiology, and physiotherapy. Currently, the library subscribes to international and national journals.

Sports

The DIPSAR facilities include sports facilities like indoor and outdoor games. The institute facilities also include a gymnasium
and swimming pool. The students of DIPSAR can use all the facilities in their free time.

I.T Infrastructure

LAN and internet connections connect all of the major research laboratories, faculty rooms, administration library, animal
house, seminar hall, lecture theatres, auditorium, guest house, and so on. This centre provides a number of services to
students, including literature searches, computation, and graphics. The DIPSAR campus, including the residential area, is
almost finished. The upgrade to the 10 Mbps lease line and campus networking has been approved and is currently
underway. The DIPSAR Internet access has been extended throughout the campus, and bandwidth has been increased to 10
Mbps. Two information technology centres provide internet access around the clock.

Laboratories

The DIPSAR facilities include various kinds of labs such as clinical research lab, central instrument lab, occular lab, machine
room, HDT lab, UG pharmaceutics lab, NDDS, hospital pharmacy, and advanced drug delivery lab are available. The majority
of the undergraduate and graduate laboratories have been renovated and are fully equipped with sophisticated instruments.

Boys Hostel

The DIPSAR facilities include a separate boys' hostel with well-structured facilities. The DIPSAR hostel facilities include a food
court, a 24/7 ATM facility, utility shops, a library, a gym and many others.

The online admissions process for Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research M.Pharm courses will start
from 31st October 2023. Online Verification of Documents will be done from 31st October 2023 to 1 November 2023.
Online seat allotment will be done on 2nd November 2023 and Online fee submission will be done from 3rd November to
5th November 2023. Reconciliation of vacant Seats will be done on 6th November 2023.
