AI-Based Health screening on airports: Sometimes, it becomes an uphill battle to handle

massive passenger loads and then screening them. Instead of screening by staff, airports can
move to intelligent systems such as AI-based algorithms that can help detect symptoms in an
individual by mass scanning, used for both arrival and departure passengers. Korea has used
the same model for fever screening and detecting symptomatic individuals (Cho et al., 2014).
Health Passports: To open-borders without restriction and restart air travel, Countries need to be
confident that they reduce transmission risk among people, and a feasible option is the "Digital
Travel Pass" (International Air Transport Association, 2021). A digital pass can include a last
piece of information before departures where to get tested or which tests, vaccines and other
mandatory things are required. Additionally, a health pass can also include information about
passengers like where they have got tasted, previous infections and what vaccine jab they have
taken on which date. Travel Pass can help Governments, Airlines, Laboratories, and travellers
by providing verified and central processes. For example, the government can verify the
authenticity of vaccination and tests or identify individuals presenting this. The airline can
provide accurate information to their passengers; conversely, the traveller can get every piece of
information in one place, reducing the risk of privacy and authenticity (International Air Transport
Association, 2021). Route Optimization: Another significant part of data science is in "Route
Optimization."
