M aterials:
I/5.5mm hook
DK weight yarn (I used lion’s brand cupcake yarn in color way “coffee break”)
Yarn needle

Abbreviations:
Ch- Chain
St- stitch
Sc- single crochet
Hdc- half double crochet
Dc- double crochet
BLO- back loop only

Notes:
Beginning chain 2 does not count as a stitch
This pattern measure for the completed shawl to be 67 inches long but can adjusted for
the height of the person that is intended for.

Directions:
To start body: ch231
Row1: (hdc across starting in the 2nd ch) ch1, turn
Row2: sc in first st, sc in blo across until last st, sc in last st, ch1, turn
Rows 3-8: Repeat rows 1 and 2
Row9: ch2, dc in 1st st, [skip st and dc in the next, go back to skipped st and dc] repeat
across and dc in last stitch, ch2 and turn
Rows 10-36: Repeat row9.
Row37: hdc in every st across, ch1 and turn
Row38: sc in first st, sc in blo across until last st, sc in last st, ch1, turn
Rows 39-44: repeat rows 37 and 38
After row 44 is com pleted, cut and fasten off and sew in all the ends

Pockets (M ake 2)
To start: ch37
Row1: (hdc across starting in the 2nd ch) ch1, turn
Rows 2-15: Repeat row 1
Row16: ch2, dc in 1st st, [skip st and dc in the next, go back to skipped st and dc]
repeat across and dc in last stitch, ch2 and turn
Rows 17-19: repeat row16

Row21: sc in first st, sc in blo across until last st, sc in last st, ch1, turn
Rows 22-25: Repeat row 20 and 21
After row 25 is com pleted, cut and fasten off
Sew on both pockets
