 Require a Schengen Visa
 Have a valid passport with at least three months of validity beyond the intended departure date
from Spain.

We recommend checking appointment availability at all convenient centers for you. It's a good
idea to keep monitoring the appointment slots several times a day, as new slots may become
available. Currently, all October slots are booked, and November slots have not been opened yet,
but we suggest keeping a regular check.
 Please keep all the documents mentioned below ready.
 Visit the visa center as per the appointment and submit your documents.
Visa document requirements:
 A completed visa application form. Fill this form with a blue pen and take a print.
 Fill the authorization form here and take a print.
 Recent passport-size photographs (as per Schengen requirements)
 Cover letter stating Applicant details, Purpose of travel, Dates of travel. Sharing a sample cover
letter for your reference. Additionally, if you any issues with the documents or want to highlight
anything related to the documents or itinerary to the embassy, please mention it clearly in the
cover letter. Please let the cover letter be detailed.
 Travel insurance and SWORN declaration form. Minimum coverage should be of 30,000 Euros
to cover any expense which might arise in connection with repatriation for medical reasons,
urgent medical attention and/or emergency hospital treatment. The insurance must be valid
throughout the territory of the Schengen States and during the entire period of stay. Check the list
of approved Indian travel insurance companies here. (Suggestion: Can take one from Care
Insurance as mentioned on BLS website.
 Travel itinerary. This document should include day wise schedule on a high level with hotel
details. Attaching a sample for your reference.
 Hotel booking receipts. Please consider making hotel reservations on Booking.com for various
hotels according to the tour plan and locations. Opt for bookings with free cancellation and no
pre-payment. This way, we can cancel the reservations once we have obtained the visa.
 Flight tickets: You have three options here to proceed considering the visa approval status.
o Book refundable flight tickets.
o Book dummy tickets from following websites. These tickets come with a valid PNR
number that remains active for 15 days, with the option to extend it in case your visa
approval takes longer. It's important to monitor the PNR status daily, as there's no
assurance that the PNR will remain valid. If needed, consider extending the PNR validity
four days prior to the 15-day limit, but only if your visa has not been granted within the
initial 15 working days.
Visa reservation or flightitineraryforvisa
o Book non-refundable flight tickets only if you have a high-risk tolerance and wish to
avoid higher ticket costs. However, this should be considered only when you are
confident that you have all necessary documents and substantial funds to present when
applying for your visa.
 Internal travel proof: You can demonstrate your intention to travel by car and secure a 9-day
rental car reservation through the specified website. This rental service does not require upfront
payment and can be canceled once your visa is approved. It's advisable not to include internal
flight transfers in your itinerary, as this would necessitate booking internal flight tickets for visa
purposes. To avoid this, we recommend proceeding with the rental car option, which can be
adjusted later as needed.
 Proof of financial means:

 o Salary slips: Salary slips for last three months. If salary slip is less than three months,
then reason for not providing the same on covering letter or Company offer letter.
o Offer letter: Offer letter from your organization.
o Bank statements: Six months updated personal bank statement (Saving A/c statement)
with sufficient economic means for the entire duration of stay € 65.52Euros (INR 4914
approx) per person per day of stay or € 589.68 Euros (INR 44,226 approx.) per person for
a minimum period of 7 day stay. Original signed and stamp of the bank (On-line and
photocopies bank statements are acceptable only if it is duly signed and stamped by the
Bank authority)
o Income tax return: Income tax returns (ITR-V) for last two assessment years. If you do
not have ITR for last two years, then you can submit form 16. In case if you do not file
the ITR you have to provide a clarification letter for the same.
o Additionally, it is advisable to include a credit card statement displaying your credit limit
(if have any) and evidence of any investments made, such as statements from investments
like a PPF account, fixed deposit, or demat account (without showing any losses).
o Suggestion: In case if your salary is not strong enough then it's advisable to consider
having your father sponsor your trip. If you choose this sponsorship option, be sure to
include your own financial documents as mentioned above, in addition to the documents
listed below. It's important to emphasize that the financial evidence should be strong
enough, so please make your decision accordingly.
 Sponsorship letter from sponsor (Sharing a sample for your reference) and
photocopy of Sponsor’s Pan card.
 Proof of your relationship with the sponsor (Not required but recommended to
include)
 Financial documents of sponsor as mentioned above. In case of businessman:
Company registration certificate, GST registration certificate, company bank
statements, personal bank statements, investment proof as mentioned above.
 Pan card copy
 Leave approval letter: Include a letter of leave approval from your manager or organization
specifying the duration of your leave and your expected return date. If you are physically present
at the office, it's advisable to obtain this letter on the company's official letterhead. If you are
working remotely, please request this letter via email and clarify in your cover letter that due to
remote work, you are unable to collect a physical letter, so you are attaching the email copy for
reference.
 Passport:
o Valid for at least 3 months after returning date to India with minimum two blank pages.
Not older than 10 years when applying for a visa.
o Photocopies of bio (first & last Page) of the current passport. If you possess more than
one passport (Current & Old) please submit the old passports as well, then photocopies of
the bio (first & last Page) of the old passports are required and please mention the same
in the cover letter with a reason specifying why are you attaching old passport.
o In case, if you have lost old passport then you have to mention the same in the cover
letter.
 Marriage certificate: Please provide a photocopy of the wedding invitation card and copies of
receipts for any pre-wedding bookings, such as the venue, catering, etc (since you are applying
for the visa before your wedding). Make sure to include these details in your cover letter as well.

Courier form: Please fill this form and take it with you when you go to the BLS office for your visa
application. Also, choose the courier option at BLS, which will deliver your passport to your home once
the visa is processed, saving you a trip to the embassy.

**Please follow the basic itinerary shared earlier for the tour plan while applying for visa. Please
remove the Canary Islands and add an extra two days to your stay in Barcelona. This change is
suggested since you can’t drive to the Canary Islands (need to take a flight or ferry), eliminating the need
to book internal flight tickets for visa application purposes.
