INTERVIEW Q:

 Tell us about a time when you were required to analyze and solve a complex problem.

S- There was a need to automate the forecasting model at Chevron and the forecast
presentation was due in 2 weeks’ time to BODs; I was an analyst for departments at that
time.

T- Mold the entire forecasting model where the overall number and dashboard would
change just by changing the rolling fast numbers.

A- I spent an entire 3 days just to understand the linkage of the file and also researching
how can I prep the template in “Easy to update” and “Dynamic way”, then I started
building the model

R- After few tweaks based on my boss’s advice the model was ready and later on I won
an R&R award from the CFO

 Provide an example of when you had to make a critical decision in your supervisor's
absence.
 Tell us about a time when you had a conflict with a co-worker.

S- I was supposed to take ME to work from a senior colleague in my last company and
my senior colleague was unwilling to create proc doc as she said she doesn’t have time

T- There was no process document, everything was in her head, my boss gave me task to
create proc doc for entire ME reporting
A- Since, I was new in the team I kind of put my hand forward and tried to know her better
and understand why she was not keen on that, later on I prosed a 3 steps solution where
first she will tell me the process and I will take notes while I understand the task from
her, then I will make a flow process (with screen shot) and review with her then do a
demo run of the same work myself.

R- We had proc doc ready for the entire ME process which my boss replicated to other
activities within the team as well.

 Tell us about the biggest change that you have had to deal with at work. How did you
adapt to that change?
 Describe a situation where you needed to persuade someone to see things your way.
 Describe a time when you failed. How did you overcome this?
 An example of when you were really proud of your work ?
