- TA use flashcards.

- Students listen to the vocabulary and write the words on the board.

Activity 2: Review the grammar of the present progresive (be going to ) for future plans (8').

- He/ She is going to fly on an airplane.

- They are going to visit a castle.

Activity 3: Play the game “Memory round” (12')

- Divide the class into two groups

- Students will make a sentence using the vocabulary and grammar in the lesson

- The first student says his sentence, and the second student says his/her sentence, and repeats the
first friend's sentence. Keep repeating that until the last student

Activity 3 ( 12’ ) Play the game “Board race ”

- Divide the class into two groups

-Ss line up in two vertical rows in front of the board.

- The teacher will say a word or a sentence to the student at the end of the line, then that student
will repeat the word or sentence he heard to the student above, and so on until the first student
heard . Then the student at the top of the row will write the word on the board, the group that
writes correctly and the fastest will get 1 point.

Activity 3 (10’) : Play the game “Noughts and Crosses”


- Divide the class into two teams and have Team A mark X and Team B mark O.

- The teacher will draw 20 squares on the board, including 4 vertical cells, 5 horizontal cells, and the
teacher fills in any 20 numbers, of which there will be 20 questions corresponding to the content of
the lesson.

- Each team will send each of you in turn to choose the number and answer the question, if that
team answers correctly, the teacher will mark with that team's symbol in that box.

- In the end, the team that lines up their three symbols, that team wins .

+ Divide the class into two teams

+ Each team chooses one person to stand in front of the class using action to describe the vocabulary
given by TA. The team that guesses the correct word the fastest and most correctly will get one
point.

Divide the class into two teams:

• When TA asks “What do you have on Monday ?” Each student on the team will have to
name a subject that begins with “ I have…” and must not repeat the subject with each
other.
• When TA asks “What do you have in your backpack?” Each student in the team will name
an object that begins with “ I have …” and cannot be repeated.

- Divide the class into two teams

- We choose 1 student from each team to sit on the hot seat and face the back of the class, while the
teacher will write a word on the board.

- Team members sitting below try to describe to their teammates what the word is, without saying,
spelling or symbolizing.

- The team with the fastest and most correct answers will get 1 point

- TA write any two animals on the board and ask students to make sentences to compare with those
two animals.

( Eg : A monkey is shorter than a giraffe )

- Two students ring the bell to win the right to answer, the group that answers correctly and fastest
will get 1 point.
