I. Objectives:
B. Review (5 Minutes)
The teacher will ask the students about the previous lesson. Regular and irregular
verbs. The teacher will show a flashcard verb and the students will identify whether the
verb is a regular verb or irregular verb.
C. Motivation (5 Minutes)
The teacher will show a balloon with a constructed sentence inside. And he will
group the students into 5 groups, after that the teacher will give each group a balloon and
they will pop the balloon and they will arrange the sentence into correct order to identify
what is the missing word in the sentence. And after that they will get the missing word on
the board to complete the sentence. The first group who finished the activity first will get a
reward.
After watching the video, he/she will ask each group to present the information that
they gathered and learned from the video presentation. Group 1 will present the Finite
Verbs, and group 2 will present the Non-Finite Verbs.
After the presentation, the teacher will highlight more information about the Finite
verbs and the Non-Finite verbs. Finite verbs are utilized in the present and Past tense.
They can be indicative of numbers. Non-finite verbs are not restricted through the number
or person of the subject. And the teacher will supply the sentence in the motivation activity
to discuss to the students whether the sentence is a finite verb or Non-Finite Verb.
