BEL and the Defence Ministry signed a pact for the procurement of
Electronic Fuzes for the Indian Army
बीईएल और रक्षा मं त्रालय ने भारतीय सेना के ललए इलेक्ट्रॉलनक फ़्यूज़ की खरीद के ललए
एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर लकए

● For the procurement of Electronic Fuzes for the Indian Army, the
Ministry of Defence signed a Rs 5,300 crore deal with Bharat
Electronics Limited Pune.
भारतीय सेना के ललए इलेक्ट्रॉलनक फ़्यूज़ की खरीद के ललए रक्षा मं त्रालय ने भारत
इलेक्ट्रॉलनक्स लललमटे ड पुणे के साथ 5,300 करोड़ रुपये के समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर
लकए।
● The contract worth Rs 5,336 crore rupees has been signed for 10
years.
10 साल के ललए 5,336 करोड़ रुपये का कॉन्ट्रैक्ट् साइन लकया गया है.
● This contract has been signed under the ‘Manufacture of
Ammunition for Indian Army by Indian Industry’ initiative of the
government.
इस अनु बंध पर सरकार की पहल 'भारतीय उद्योग द्वारा भारतीय सेना के ललए
गोला-बारूद का लनमााण' के तहत हस्ताक्षर लकए गए हैं ।
● The main aim of the initiative is to build ammunition stocks to
minimize imports and to achieve self-sufficiency in ammunition
manufacturing.
इस पहल का मुख्य उद्दे श्य आयात को कम करने और गोला-बारूद लनमााण में
आत्मलनभारता हालसल करने के ललए गोला-बारूद भंडार का लनमााण करना है ।

After the 2029 election, India’s women voters’ number will surpass male
voters
2029 के चु नाव के बाद भारत की मलहला मतदाताओं की संख्या पुरुष मतदाताओं से
अलधक हो जाएगी

● As per a report by SBI, the women voters will be more than male
voters from the 2029 election onwards.
एसबीआई की एक ररपोटा के अनु सार, 2029 के चुनाव के बाद मलहला मतदाताओं
की संख्या पुरुष मतदाताओं से अलधक हो जाएगी।
● In the 2024 election, the total number of voters will be around 68
crore, of which women voters will be 33 crore (49%).
2024 के चुनाव में कुल मतदाताओं की संख्या लगभग 68 करोड़ होगी, लजनमें
मलहला मतदाता 33 करोड़ (49%) होंगी।
 ● After 2029, the women voters will be 37 crore, which will be more
than male voters (36 crore).
2029 के बाद मलहला वोटर 37 करोड़ हो जाएं गी, जो पुरुष वोटर (36 करोड़) से
ज्यादा होंगी
● In 2047, the women's voter turnout might increase to 55% and men's
voter turnout might fall to 45%.
2047 में मलहलाओं का मतदान प्रलतशत बढ़कर 55% और पुरुषों का मतदान
प्रलतशत लगरकर 45% हो सकता है ।

● In the last five years, out of the 23 major states where elections
happened, the women's voter turnout was higher than men's in 18
states.
● At present, only 15% of the total members of the Lok Sabha are
women. In state assemblies, on average 9% of the total numbers are

● Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (KMBL) and the IIT Kanpur have
launched “Kotak School of Sustainability (KSS)”, India’s first fully
integrated school of sustainability, at IIT Kanpur Campus.
