ANNUNCIATOR CONTROL PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSY TEST PROCEDURES
This section defines the procedures necessary to test the 130-364048 printed circuit board assemblies.
INITIAL SETUP
POWER SOURCE
WARNING LIGHTS
a. Connect a 30 ohm resistor in parallel with a 28V indicator light between a 28 vdc source and pin 12.
CAUTION LIGHTS
a. Connect a 30 ohm resistor in parallel with a 28V indicator light between a 28 vdc source and pin 44.
ADVISORY LIGHTS
a. Connect a 30 ohm resistor in parallel with a 28V indicator light between a 28 vdc source and pin 47.
a. Connect two No. 327 lamps in parallel between pins 7 and 44.

a. Connect two No. 327 lamps in parallel between pins 6 and 44.
a. Connect four No. 327 lamps in parallel between 28 vdc source and pin 39.
a. Connect four No. 327 lamps in parallel between 28 vdc source and pin 37.
a. Connect the 28 vdc source through a closed switch to pin 28 to reset the circuit.
a. Connect the 28 vdc source through a closed switch to pin 41 to reset the circuit.
a. Connect two No. 327 lamps in parallel between pins 40 and 44.
c. For the -5 assembly, close the switch to connect the rheostat to ground. For the -9, -11, -13, -15, -17, -19, -21,
-23, -25 and -27 assemblies, open the switch to disconnect the rheostat from ground.

d. After pin 38 switches to 14 vdc, measure the time required for pin 36 to switch to 14 vdc; the time shall be 125
+100, -50 milliseconds.
e. The “Master Caution” indicator light shall illuminate and flash at 4 ± 1 Hz.
h. The “Master Caution” indicator light shall remain illuminated and flashing.
d. After pin 29 switches to 14 vdc, measure the time required for pin 33 to switch to 14 vdc; the time shall be 125
+100, -50 milliseconds.
h. The “Master Warning” indicator light shall remain illuminated and flashing.

3. The “Master Caution”, “Warning”, “Caution”, 'Advisory” and “Cabin Door” indicator lights shall be dim. The
“Master Warning” indicator light shall be bright.
l. Voltage on pins 39, 37, 44, 47 and 12 shall be 1.0 vdc maximum.
o. The “Master Caution”, “Master Warning”, “Warning”, “Caution”, “Advisory”, and “Cabin Door” indicator lights
shall return to the dim state.
3. Return the rheostat to the 500,000 ohm setting to dim the indicator lights.

2. Adjust the rheostat connected to pin 11 for a minimum resistance and back to maximum resistance.
3. Verify the intensity of the indicator lights increases as the rheostat resistance decreases and decreases as
the rheostat resistance increases.
ag. The “Master Caution”, “Master Warning”, “Warning”, “Caution”, “Advisory”, and “Cabin Door” indicator lights
shall return to the bright state.
aj. Verify indicator lights return to the dim state and are flashing.
b. The “Master Warning”, “Master Caution”, “Warning”, “Caution” and “Advisory” indicator lights shall illuminate in
a steady bright state.

INSPECTION
Inspection shall be to quality control standards. Make sure the boards and attached components, including terminals
and connectors are clean. Check for discolored or overheated components and make sure that the protective
conformal coating has been restored in any areas where components were replaced.
