1. Imagine that you bought a pair of shoue which you like most. Write a letter to your uncle who is

3. Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that follow.

Limbika Tebulo smiled as he walked to school. He was happy to be in standard eight. Limbika thought “ Now I
will learn more. I will write and read more also. This is a good day.”

Limbika loved school. He wanted to go all the way to college. After college, Limbika wanted to a businessman
or a famous singer or even a president.

Tupo Tebulo was Limbika’s Twin sister. She walked to school with him. But she was not happy. She thought , “
I like to read and learn. But I love football. I love to kick and run and I wanted to play football but the school
does not allow me to play football. I am not happy..”

Tupo had a big dream. She wanted a girl’s football team. She wanted to be captain of the team. Tupo wanted to
show that girls were intelligent and strong. Most of all, Tupo wanted to play football.

Chisomo phiri also walked to school. Last year, he did not pass. He thought, “ I do not like school. I do not like
to read or write.”
