NARRATIVE REPORT / REFLECTIONS

Work immersion served as my stepping stone to pursue my dream. It is particularly held in the
different company but amidst the pandemic, I cannot able to work or experience being a work
immersion trainee in a company. Through the alternative guidelines given by DepED, students like me
can able to experience work immersion in their own houses. I have my family business where I use it as
my work immersion. Sari-sari store is our business. As a senior high school student of Pulungmasle
National High School, I am grateful that I can use my learnings in our family business. I enjoyed
selling merchandise products since our customers are our neighbors and some people passing through
our store. Through the help of my family, I able to make different strategies that will help our business
be known by others. The lesson that I gained is how to be tough, have patience in everyday and hard
work will always outweigh talent. Hard work outweighs talent and intelligence and is necessary if you
want to succeed. This not only means working hard when things are going well but working harder
when things are not. It means taking calculated risks and sticking to them, no matter how challenging
they are. Lastly, no matter where you go in the world, you will find that all people share one similar
trait: they all want to be loved. Respect every person you meet, no matter who they are or what type of
status they hold. As for your friends and family, love them unconditionally, and never forget about
them no matter how busy you are. In my short time as a work immersion student, I am thankful that I
got to experience all of this. It helps me understand different challenges and able to improve myself.
