CPDHTS Examination
The CPDHTS Beta Examination is structured as follows:
• Composed of 150 multiple-choice questions.
• B
 efore the CPDHTS Beta Examination, there is 15 minutes allotted for the NDA and exam tutorial.
After the exam, there is 15 minues allotted for a survey. Please allow a total of 3.5 hours for your testing
experience.

For the operational exam, there will be fewer questions (100 instead of 150), and there for the exam
itself will be 2 hours, plus the 15 minutes pre and 15 minutes post. We will adjust the CPDHTS
candidate handbook between the beta and operational exams.
• The CPDHTS Examination is based on the four (4) major content areas listed in the Outline of Exam Topics.
• CPDHTS Examination questions are categorized by the following cognitive levels:
– Recall (RE): ability to recall or recognize specific information.
– Application (AP): ability to comprehend, relate or apply knowledge to new or changing
situations.
– Analysis (AN): ability to analyze and synthesize information, determine solutions, or evaluate
the solutions.
