To check the PT’s PA has been approved or not:

Tool to check: Availity


Log in to Availity.

Click the Insurance or if not saved, Select the dropdown on top, it should be (Insurance Name).

Fill in the following information: (for “Services Request Authorization Option) Choose – SERVICE
REQUEST AUTHORIZATION STATUS INQUIRY.
Click Submit.

Search Options: Member Number

Member Number: Input Member ID (Get the Member ID in the fax form in DT)
Click the Searched Info:

In the Description Section: “Approved”

Then print and upload in DT and Log in BT.
