I am writing to apply for the Verification Officer position for the upcoming District
Assembly election.
The role is very appealing to me, and I believe that my strong technical experience and

My key strengths that would support my success in this position include:

i. I took part in the maiden edition of the Biometric Voter Registration and Biometric Voter
Registration and Verification exercise as a Data Entry Clerk and Verification Officer in the
previous elections.
ii. I have eight (8) years working experience with electoral commission when it comes to
Voter Registration and Verification. (2012 – 2020).
iii. Very competent with application software, proficient in hardware and a good team player
iv. Very proficient in typing and able to work under pressure with less supervision.

With BSc Information and Communication Technology, Diploma in Computer Networking, I

have experience in learning and applying new technologies as appropriate.
