YEAR’S BEST AWARD

1. AGRICULTURIST OF THE YEAR
-The award must be given to a graduating Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or
Bachelor in Agricultural Technology student.
-He/she must possess good academic standing.
-He/she have manifested leadership skills during his/her stay in the university
-He/she must be active in extra-curricular activities of the university and community
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.

2. BEST IN THESIS (Crop Science Category)

-The award must be a graduating Bachelor of Science in Agriculture student major
in Crop Science.
-The awardee must have developed new knowledge and applied technology.
-The thesis must be essential and relevant in terms of agriculture’s sector priority.
-Technology derived from thesis must be latest and up-to-date.
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.

3. BEST IN THESIS (Animal Science Category)

-The award must be a graduating Bachelor of Science in Agriculture student major
in Animal Science.
-The awardee must have developed new knowledge and applied technology.
-The thesis must be essential and relevant in terms of agriculture’s sector priority.
-Technology derived from thesis must be latest and up-to-date.
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.

4. HOME TECHNOLOGIST OF THE YEAR

-The award must be a graduating Bachelor of Science in Home Technology
student.
-The awardee must be skillful and knowledgeable in home technology.
-The awardee shall obtain the highest grade in OJT and major subjects.
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.

5. EXTENSIONIST OF THE YEAR

-The award must be a graduating Bachelor of Science in Home Technology
student.
-The awardee must be skillful and knowledgeable in home technology.
 -He/she must be active in joining and participating extension activities by the
Department of Home Science.
-Must possess rapport to the community and clienteles
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.

6. ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

-The award must be a graduating Diploma in Agricultural Technology (DAT) and
BSHT graduating student.
-The awardee must have exemplary practicum record
-The awardee shall obtain the highest grade in practicum and major subjects.
-He/she must applies updated agricultural technologies and relevant practices
during his/her practicum.
-He/she must possess entrepreneurial skills
-A minimum residence of 2 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.

7. BEST INTERNATIONAL ON-THE-JOB TRAINEE (OJT) OF THE YEAR

-The award must be a graduating Bachelor in Agricultural Technology (BAT).
-He/she must have conducted his/her OJT in a foreign country.
-The awardee must have exemplary OJT record
-The awardee shall obtain the highest grade in OJT.
-He/she must applies updated agricultural technologies and relevant practices
during his/her OJT.
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.

8. BEST LOCAL ON-THE-JOB TRAINEE (OJT) OF THE YEAR

-The award must be a graduating Bachelor in Agricultural Technology (BAT) and
Bachelor of Science in Home Technology student.
-He/she must have conducted his/her OJT within the country.
-The awardee must have exemplary OJT record.
-The awardee shall obtain the highest grade in OJT.
-He/she must applies updated agricultural technologies and relevant practices
during his/her OJT.
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.

9. CROP TECHNOLOGIST OF THE YEAR

-The award must be a graduating Bachelor in Agricultural Technology student
major in Crop Technology.
-The awardee must have knowledge and skilled in terms of Crop technology.
-The awardee shall have the highest accumulated grades in all major subjects.
-The awardee must have completed his/her OJT relevant to his/her specialization.
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.
10. ANIMAL TECHNOLOGIST OF THE YEAR
-The award must be a graduating Bachelor in Agricultural Technology student
major in Animal Technology.
-The awardee must have knowledge and skilled in terms of Animal technology.
-The awardee shall have the highest accumulated grades in all major subjects.
-The awardee must have completed his/her OJT relevant to his/her specialization.
-A minimum residence of 3 years in the university is required.
-The awardee has no failing grades from any other subject.
