INTRODUCTION
We learned about acceleration, specifically constant acceleration, and what that
looks like in a space-time, velocity-time, and acceleration-time graph, with the
acceleration being gravity and constant weight.

SET UP
We set up our thingie that blows air to assimilate a no-friction plane, the hanging
mass attached to the gliding thingie whose distance/time and thus acceleration we’ll be
analyzing, and the sensor hooked up to the computer.

PROCEDURE
We followed the steps about finding a theoretical A based on the formulas which
are, of course, considering ideal conditions, and set off with gathering the experimental
values by letting the hanging mass move the gliding thingie and analying the graph.

DATA AND ANALYSIS

CONCLUSIONS
Acceleration was constant and 2.77, very close to the theoretical value of 2.7 that
we had calculated, with only a 6.45% error, pretty extra-credit worthy if you ask me.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
We had a good time and it was fun getting the theoretical as well as the real-life
values and see them be very similar, nearly identical if you ask me…
