This study was done by methylene blue dye from waste water by using fly ash, fly
ash is released from thermal power plant and another power plant.
Fly ash as an adsorbent was used for adsorption process and that was released into
environment this was found destructive for ecology system . Different
Dies in waste water were released from various industries such as textile
industry ,food processing ,leather ,cosmetics and paper industry but textile
industry
was found one of the major resource than other for release waste water into
ground , for adsorption process here was used various adsorbent such as alum,
Ferric chloride, activated carbon and lime etc. these all resources as adsorbents
were conventional resources ,most of absorbent was using activated carbon in
industries due to excellent adsorption capacity but activated carbon was high
expensive for developing country , hence this adsorbent was limited use in them
but fly ash was found at low cost. This experiment was carried out by various
initial concentration to check effect of adsorption such variable initial
concentration at constant flowrate and height of the adsorbent bed, variable of
height of bed at constant initial concentration of dye and flowrate, variable
flow rate at constant concentration dye and height of bed with LUB ( length of
unusual bed of adsorbent).
