Artworks generated by AI have recently raised much controversy among the public for their

true value and meanings, as well as the concern of replacing human artists. One example is
the artwork Théâtre D'opéra Spatial, with a fantasy theme by Jason Allen. Surprisingly, this
piece of art received the first prize of $750 in an art exhibition fair. However, it was soon
spotted for using AI drawing programs, raising the debate over whether it is fair for artists to
harness and train AI through paintings and the consequences and solutions later being
announced to the public.

The topic of AI and artwork fascinates me and allows me to consider whether it is acceptable
or not. I think artwork should not be generated by AI programs because although it seems
perfect with AI, it still lacks the human touch, emotions, and authenticity. Specifically, there
will be almost no connection between the artist and people toward the artwork if it is not
created by their actual minds that they want to express through art pieces. In artworks, the
light effect, composition, canvas, character traits, etc., are carefully considered by artists by
the efforts and time they spend making them genuine and meaningful. Therefore, AI
creations cannot easily replace the efforts and unique feelings they evoke.
