site both. Basically, the context determines the architectural style, building
material selection and site layout.
Site Inventory

 Site inventory is the first step in design process. It is simply the list of
elements that currently exist in the property. Elements that exist in adjacent
properties should also be considered if they impact the future design.
Site Analysis

 Site analysis involves the evaluation of an existing or potential site in

relation to the development program, environments impact, impacts on
the community and adjacent properties, project budget and schedule.
 The site analysis identifies environmental, program and development
constraints and opportunities.

 Architectural Programming Is a research Process to gather, analyze and
document relevant information(Human factor, function and activities,
relationship, cost, site, climate…)and then reach to conclusion.
