Introduction

Sexual anxiety, also known as sexual performance anxiety, is defined as "fear,

worry, or anxiety related to sexual activity. These feelings can be caused by sexual
dysfunctions, stress, negative experiences from the past, or a variety of other factors."
Given that it is one of the most prevalent sexual complaints affecting up to 25%
of men and 16% of women sexual performance anxiety is normal. People may
experience severe anxiety as a result of it, and they may even avoid sexual activity.
That said, the most important factor to consider is the importance of
communication. Communication can not only make you more comfortable, but it can
also help you identify the root of your sexual anxiety and help you work toward a
more fulfilling sex life.
