What is economic growth and development? Economic growth may be one aspect of economic development but is not the same. Both are refers to the same economic conditions in a certain society. Economic growth:-is a measure of the value of output of goods and services within a certain period of time. It is used to describe the increase in the total amount of production and wealth of a given country. It is related to wealth of a country. It is quantitativeaspect. Economic development:-is a measure of the welfare of human beings in a certain state. It refers to growth in structural and technological change. It is both quantitative andqualitative aspect.
