Missoula Police Department Addresses Community Concerns Regarding Recent Home Intrusions: Suspect
Identified, Warrant Pending

The Missoula Police Department is issuing a public advisory to inform the community about recent home
intrusions in the East Broadway and Rattlesnake areas. Our investigators have successfully identified the
suspect as a 43-year-old female. We are working with the Missoula County Attorney’s office and pursuing legal
avenues for her arrest.

While the incidents are unsettling, it is crucial to note that the suspect has not displayed aggression towards
residents and has been making excuses when confronted by homeowners. The Missoula Police Department
wants to assure the public that every effort is being made to address the situation promptly and
comprehensively.

Residents, please ensure that all doors, including vehicle doors and home entrances, are securely locked.
If residents observe any suspicious behavior, including strangers attempting to open doors, please contact 911.
Residents should consider adequate outdoor lighting, which can deter criminal activity. Consider installing
motion sensor lights around your property.

The Missoula Police Department will provide updates on the investigation as they become available. In the
meantime, residents are urged to stay informed through official channels and share information responsibly.

The Missoula Police Department is dedicated to serving and protecting the community of Missoula. Committed
to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, the department works collaboratively with residents
to maintain a safe and secure environment.
