The graphic industry is facing the issue of the affecting climate changes in a negative

way. Unsustainable practices are significantly contributing to the decline of Earth's health, as
well as the health of living world on it.

Excessive paper consumption, processes which consume large amounts of energy and
poor waste management are marking graphic industry as one of the leading polluters in 21st
century. Deforestation, emission of polluting gases are only a few examples of completing this
statement. Using eco-friendly alternatives such as recycled paper, energy-efficient technologies
can minimize these impacts.

Consumers demand also serves as an equally guilty half of Earth polluting in graphic
industry. Opting for digital media and supporting companies which implement responsible
graphic design, can drastically benefit eco-friendly organizations.

In conclusion, I believe that the graphic industry must take responsibility for its
contribution to climate changes. Implementing eco-friendly concepts such as paper recycling and
promotion of climate awareness via graphic design can mitigate damage that given industry is
inflicting on public health.
