40.

answer, and stood at the least of the pie chart was no with 4.1%.

About factors that lead to suicidal thought, there were two answers had the highest pillar out of ten
pillars, which was the cyber bullying and mental health problems. Those had 75% answer of the
participants. At the second and third place was the high expectations from the parents and teachers
and the feeling of insecurities, which was 62.5% and 58.3%. 54.2%, 50%,45.8% and 41.7% of the

In the recommendation to prevent suicide, notice the warning of suicide with providers, contacts

teenagers from suicide from participants’ perspective were mental health care and educating
problem solving.

Finally, about whether or not participants saw any suicidal case in reallife, most of them chose no.
however, there were 3 responses were yes. When asked about their feeling or thought at the time it
happened, the first person shared that it had happened when he or she was at secondary school. In
order to refrain herself from the helpless feeling, she indulged in works. The second person did not
give any details about her situation, but she advised to share the feeling to those who you trust. The
third person stated that she or he had gone through an unforgettable pain when a Korean idol that
she or he admired did so. Besides, a person said that although he or she did not saw any cases, but
he or she also thought about doing so while trying to complete all the works and assignments.

Disscussion of results:

As stated from the above discussion, the majority of participants come from Ha Noi university, so it
is easy to understand how hard they have to endure all the workloads from the school. However, Ha
Noi university does not the only school that have students complete all kind of deadlines because
deadlines nowadays are the common thing in everywhere, whether people do physical or mental
works. Besides, there are few participants who have already been post-graduated. They can also be
a good example of how things proceeded today.

From most of the participants’ perspective, teenagers nowadays have to suffer more stress than in
the past. The reasons that they mostly think about which contribute to the sress youngsters
nowadays have to go through are cyber bullying and mental health problems. One the one hand,
there no suprising in the fact that Internet is the controlling factor that control our life these days, so
cyber bullying is an inevitable problem. Almost all teenagers have smartphone for communicating
and net-surfing in these modern days, so the accessing to Internet is way easier than before. While
the upside of smartphone is obvious, it also has downside that negatively affect those youngsters,
and cyber bullying is also a part of these affections. In addition to that, mental health problems are
also the reason for suicidal matter. It heavily bases on the environment where they were brought up
and the way they were treated by society. That are the two leading reasons that are equally chosen
by the participants. When being questioned about their feeling towards the matter, a large number
of them have mixed feelings about that. The reason why they do not have any specific feeling to this
problem can be that if they had heard or saw it before. The sign of the suicidal thought in
participants’ mind is that their story is all surrounded by dead and suicidal attempt, and their
persionality suddenly changes. This may be truth because when people think they are treated
unfairly as others, they begin to change from the story they talk to others and their attitude towards
society. About the methods participants think to be effective for those who have suicidal thought,
early education and mental health care are favored by most participants. If people are educated
early, they can somehow find a way to avoid stress, and if they develop a healthy mind, they can be
positive in the some specific narrow situation.
